Hemlock provides users with the ability to connect to SQL or MongoDB databases, perform CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations, and execute database commands through an editor. It is important to note that Hemlock does not access or retrieve data from any connected database. The Software operates solely as an interface for users to interact with their databases.

3. Data Privacy

Hemlock does not have any form of access to the data stored in the connected databases. The Software does not collect, transmit, or store any data from the databases used with it. It is designed to respect and prioritize the privacy and security of user data.

4. Storage of Database Credentials

Hemlock stores database credentials locally on the user's computer for the sole purpose of facilitating seamless connections to databases. There is no transmission of this information to external servers or third parties.

5. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and security of the database credentials entered into Hemlock. It is advised to follow best practices for password management and regularly update credentials.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to engage in any activities that may compromise the security or functionality of the Software. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, attempting to gain unauthorized access to databases, reverse engineering, or distributing unauthorized copies of the Software.

7. Limitation of Liability

Hemlock is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. The developers of Hemlock shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Software.

8. Changes to Terms of Service

The developers of Hemlock reserve the right to modify or revise these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the Software after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
